VSRA OTRAINING COURSES TERMS & CONDITIONS

The following Terms & Conditions apply to VSRA courses, other than the Safety Orientation, which has its’ own Disclaimer. The material contained in this material is meant to bring awareness to and orient the user in ship repair specific knowledge sets.  It is not intended to be used as a full shipyard safety program or training system, nor is it tailored to each possible user or company.  All materials were developed in collaboration with a number of VSRA member companies, and depending on the subject matter, variously had input from the United States Department of Labor - Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA), the United States Department of the Navy – Norfolk Ship Support Activity (NSSA) and the Norfolk Naval Shipyard (NNSY), and from many experienced and knowledgeable subject matter experts at Hampton Roads shipyards. These materials are supplied as a resource; they do not ensure any employment related status.

However, it must be made clear that the use of these materials are provided for the purpose of increasing the industry knowledge base and supporting high quality working practices within the Hampton Roads ship repair industry.  There are no warranties related to these courses or their associated publications, and the Virginia Ship Repair Association (VSRA) does not make any promises, commitments, warranties, or guarantees or any other representations regarding the legality or adequacy of said resources.  The VSRA expressly denies any liability related to this publication.  VSRA EXPRESSLY DENIES THE EXISTENCE OF ANY WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY OR FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE AS RELATED TO THE SALE, DISTRIBUTION OR PUBLICATION OF THIS PROGRAM.
